Hello & welcome! Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about me. My name is Hasti (say it with me: "ha-ha-ha-Hasti La Vista") and I am the happy owner & proud planner of La Vista Events.

Since launching in 2014, I have had friends join me as clients, and clients turn into friends. I love what I do and pour my heart & energy into creating personalized celebrations. I strongly value the importance of excellent customer service and prefer to emphasize quality over quantity when it comes to planning. I am a certified wedding planner and also have a BBA degree from the SFU Beedie School of Business, with over 5 years of corporate office experience in Human Resources Management and Business Services. I love using Excel, Mail Merge, and 3D Floor Plan design programs in order to enhance the planning process.

I've had the pleasure of working with clients with various cultural backgrounds (Persian, Indian, Ismaili, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian, etc... just to name a few!) and budgets ranging from $20,000 to $200,000! My team and I have experienced planning & coordinating celebrations at all sorts of venues - backyards, gardens, tents, golf courses, banquet halls, hotel ballrooms, etc. We also appreciate working with various vendors - there is so much talent in our beautiful city. We are SO lucky to get to do what we LOVE!

When you love what you do so much, it can be challenging to "shut off" sometimes. So in my rare free time, I try to unplug by spending time with my family and visiting my grandparents. My husband and I like to go out to restaurants and the movies (where I usually fall asleep after the previews finish). Two years ago we adopted our 5 pound bundle of joy, a toy yorkie-mix that we named Bubzi. If you follow along on Instagram @LaVistaEvents you'll see him make an appearance every once in a while. When I'm not busy working or spending time with loved ones, I love hitting the gym, playing tennis, or attempting yoga. One of my goals is to obtain my personal training certification before I'm 30. I still have a couple years so we'll see...

I like to think that life is simple and we shouldn't over-complicate it. Let's be kind to one another and remember that "comparison is the thief of joy"... And most importantly, let's have some F U N along the way and enjoy this crazy journey called L I F E !

-Love & La Vista! Hasti
