Jill + David
Vancouver Convention Centre
The Ceremony: Incorporating multiple songs and a modern processional, J+D included their parents, step parents, siblings, dog, and each bridesmaid and groomsmen. In total, we had around 30+ guests of honor to send down the aisle and we timed it to 3 special songs. The processional was long but dramatic and emotional, as the build-up to seeing Bride go down the aisle was well worth the wait, as she walked down to At Last by Etta James. The ceremony was beautifully personalized by Reverend Dan Chambers in a light-hearted and loving manner.
Design Plan: working on a custom floor plan with mix & match tables, decor items, centerpieces, and linen colors was a dream come true. Collaborating with the talented team at Koncept Events + FlowerZ, the design plan came to life beautifully to fill up the huge space at the Convention Centre to make it feel as intimate as possible and create visually appealing conversation pieces for guests to enjoy.
Lola - J+D’s ring and “flower girl” stole the show as she walked down the aisle with Jill’s brother. Lola wore a sign around her neck and behaved so well. It’s always so nice to be able to include family pets in wedding photos and ceremonies.
